Past Events of the Lotus Youth Council
LYC Potluck 2024
In October of 2024, we had our annual potluck, and we raised $1500 toward the construction of the monks' residence at the Toronto Mahavihara temple. It was so great to see all the community members and youth who took part in making the event a success. Thank you to everyone who ordered food and supported our cause!
Vesak Lantern Making
Here are some pictures from the event of making Vesak Lanterns. It was great seeing our members come together to make such beautiful creations for Vesak and it was amazing to meet and talk to some new members of our council. Thank you to everyone who came to help!
Vesak 2024 - Popcorn Dansela
The Lotus Youth Council celebrated Vesak with a popcorn dansela at the Toronto Mahavihara, giving out over 100 bags of popcorn. Thank you to everyone who came to support.
